Training Operations (Trg Ops) is responsible for the delivery of all identified, fire related training for all 3 armed services and contractor Fire Brigades employed on the MOD estate. It is commanded by an ADO from the DF&RS, with instructional staff being provided by RAF and DF&RS personnel.

Trg Ops currently employs a total of 55 personnel inclusive of MT, Resources and Fire Ground Support Unit (FGSU) staff, who contribute towards and support the efficient running of the department. We currently provide training for around 2000 personnel a year via the following courses:
