Listed below are a number of the Sections within DFTDC

Training Operations

Training operations (Trg Ops) is responsible for the delivery of all identified, fire related training for all 3 armed services and contractor Fire Brigades employed on the MOD estate.

IPDS

IPDS

This department is responsible for IPDS management.

Fireground Support

The role of FGSU is to support the many aspects of training carried out at  FSCTE.  These tasks include vehicle support right through to the basic maintenance and operation of the simulators in use at Manston

Force Development & Training Flight

Force Development & Training (FD&T) are responsible for Military force development activities. It is currently designing, reviewing & piloting the FT 1 and FT 2.

Logistics Support Flight

Logistics Support flight provide a service for the procurement and storage of clothing, technical and general equipment in the support of DFTDC

Admin Support Flight

Admin Support Flight (ASF) staff are responsible are responsible for all aspects of military personnel administration, course administration, discipline, JPA accounting, registry and postal duties.

MT Section

MT  provides maintenance for the fleet of fire vehicles used at DFTDC, they also handle the fleet cars used by DFTDC staff.

The MT section also has a pool of professional drivers who meet the  transport needs of DFTDC.
