The burning also incorporates the mitlsim training faculty. This facility comprises of a hybrid airframe consisting of:
- Wide bodied passenger/cargo plane
- Fast jet cockpit
- High level engine fire
- Underwing engine fires
- Helicopter(Rotary) gearbox fire
- Hot wheels/Hot brakes fire
- Rear cargo ramp access
- Internal seating arrangements
- Under fuselage/Belly access
The multisim utilises pressurised aviation fuel for its fuel source. This can be provided by the reclaimed fuel system incorporated with the burning area.
Different areas of the aircraft be utilised through a system of controllable valves.
