DFTDC has a purpose built 4 story drill tower, incorporating lighting and an internal raking ladder system. This facility is used for all High level/Ladder training within the training syllabus.
The drill square allows fire service hose and pumping drill’s to be conducted. Its western boundary has 3 standard fire service hydrants built into the drill square. The eastern boundary has a covered open water storage tank for open water lifting training. This tank is filled by recycled water from within the drill square complex.
