DFTDC Manston is able to offer spare capacity
on a diverse range of facilities that often becomes available due to
the fluctuation in training courses that are run. Private and public
sector organisations as well as private individuals, at reasonable
rates, can apply to lease or use, on a casual basis, facilities
ranging from the fire training areas including simulators,
classrooms, conference facilities, 100 seat lecture theatre, storage facilities and some
sleeping accommodation. Facilities for the testing of fire service
equipment such as; fire-fighting media, PPE, hydraulic
lifting/cutting equipment and thermal imaging cameras are also
available.
